Is language a mirror, allowing us to perceive reality exactly as it is? Or does language only allow us to see our own subject perception?
Looking at language, I believe that language is a mirror looking inwards. It reflects our subjective perceptions and interpretations of the world. We can only describe really what we see in words using language and communication, and that is limited to our knowledge of that language. For example, I can only describe something with the vocabulary I have, or even only the vocabulary available with the language. So what I see cannot be exactly what I describe, because the language only allows me to say what I can say, acting as a mirror looking inwards showing my interpretation.
