Taking the test on the following website:

I find that the result is very interesting, however I don’t agree with it completely. It touches on the fact of Identity Confusion Syndrome, but i don’t fully agree with it. I understood that if my mind and thought changed to a new body, I would be the new person and that I have only lost my physical body.

Emotion

Considering emotions in our lives, I believe that it is possible to feel something which is difficult to describe in language. Sometimes language is not broad enough to explain everything in life, especially exact feelings of individuals.

Due to this, emotions such as love and grief have been shaped by language, because we understand and label certain emotions after words which describe them. Only with words available to we feel then these emotions, although there might be much more to them, causing them to be interpreted differently.

Emotions are also questioned weather they can be controlled or if they are inevitable. I believe that emotions are all controllable depending on one’s self control, and that if emotions “slip through” it is because the emotion is so powerful. For example the GSG9 of Germany (Bundesgrenzschutz), also known as the Special Forces, have to try and overcome their emotions and attachment to each other in order to come to the right decision in hard times. They must take care and attach themselves to a chicken and raise it like their child, just to kill it in the end, testing and controlling their emotions.

I believe and know that emotions are very powerful in our lives and that language has a strong effect on them, but I also find that emotions can be controlled or contained with enough self control and will power.

Zeitgeist Film – Personal Response

The film, Zeitgeist which looks at the different aspects of truth and possibilities, I believe that although it all seems very plausible and persuasive especially when analyzing the event of 9/11, it is manipulated and changed to make the audience believe certain things.

Both in the part for religion or 9/11, the editing is very wisely done showing only parts and cutting speeches to make it look like the speakers are saying something, which in the end, they might not at all.

It is a very entertaining and intriguing film, however I question it’s reliability and sources and do not believe all of what it shows.
