Food Package Cover
For the Art project I will need to create a cover for food object. The food has to be shown in a colorful way to make it more accessible to customers. Also elements of productive uses to make customer buy the item needs to be present. I will try to do a item to make consumer buy my item. This will be done by using colors and a sports brand to create a health promotion and to use a new sports people buys my object. The food is a difficult choice to make. I think that a health food is a good food for me. There will be few sketches I will do. The sports will be done by getting a few athletes on the cover. Also the type of writing and the food item will taken as a appetizing food object.
The food is a sports food. The name will be Sports Up, I chose this as it sounds like a sports food as well as having a good name and the logo will be a the name in a quick or comic style logo which will catch the attention of consumers. The net design will, be about having to make the consumer buy it, this is why I created pictures of sports people as well as the picture of the food. Sports brand cookies will be what I will place, also a few more items such as ways to use this product will be to make a few sports on the side or to make a few cool items about sports on the side too. This is what I want to make my food packaging about.
NEW PROJECT
Sports are still the idea but there is now a twist and now there is a ASIA theme fruit idea. I have added fruits to the cover so that more people will get used to the cover. Also I have now added more fruit pictures and a few more new things.

Business Card Art
I had a few business card ideas. I firstly thought of having a few pictures and to make the Business Card look good and slowly I couldn’t find many pictures to make my business card of a rich restaurant look good, I then looked at a few designs and realized that no pictures would be the appropriate way to make my card look good. I also had an idea of making my card realistic and look good but by making the card look like a card that would look like it would belong to a class restaurant. It might be simple but that is the key I was looking for and I also made a few designs better to make the card better.
Firstly I took a picture of a seaside place to make the card look great. Then I looked at the other photos I had which I had a lot of, and decided that I could use a few of them. But I tried a lot of designs but eventually realized that a simpler design was good to show off the class of the restaurant. I then made my design a lot better by turning the card into a more abstract kind of way to create a better.
There were a few designs that really made me think and afterwards I decided to place my idea on simplicity. I then found a few designs took their good ideas and placed them into mine. Firstly I took them and added a few on my touches. Using a few more touches I added some more and then I tried a new look or font but could not find a good one and stayed with the site. I then found a few more ideas decided to use them and afterwards found a great idea which was to use a slick, nice simplistic idea. .

My Video Game Cover
Design Brief
Our art project was to make a Video Cover. This cover had to have many design elements to attract customer and to fuel ideas. We were given a list of ideas or to make your own name but to be creative.  I had chosen mine to be a NBA Live 11. I will try to make the ideas  very authentic by incorporating various aspects of previous design cover into mine as well as using a  new look of a paper drawn person. My cover had to be creative and I had chosen a very famous basketball to be the front man of my cover. My target consumer will be basketball fans across all ages but also non sports fans who know a particular player. I hope to achieve my goal of successfully marketing a famous sports game using a respected player.

Design Process
I first thought of using the very famous basketball player Rondo for my cover but I chose Kobe Bryant. Kobe Bryant is more appealing to a wider audience while Rondo is only popular in a single city. I wanted my product to appeal to a wider demographic.
I had chosen Rondo firstly as my game cover but as the screenshot shows, making him a paper drawn person was not the best idea. It made him too symbolic and fans would not being able to see who it was. On the other hand, Kobe Bryant expression is clearer and more relatable. The point was that a even if there was movement in the photo, the player has to be clear.
The marketing technique of using famous sports players for advertising has been successful in sports franchises including NFL and Hockey. This is a very good approach and this is why I have used it in my game design. I tried to incorporate some splashes in the background but I scrapped it for a simpler design. Less is sometimes better for my designs.

Target Audience
My main target audience was basketball fans but I chose Kobe Bryant because he is more than a basketball player. His character speaks to non-sports fans which makes the target audience potentially much larger.  Kobe Bryant represents the image of basketball for the USA regularly thought of as the best player at this time. He also has a charisma to his character, I also chose that moment of motion as it gives the audience a moment of adrenaline which makes the consumer more likely to purchase the game.

Pictures of Process

1. I firstly began by using a template for  PS3. I had analyse how to use a good space to maximize my design. I started by starting the cover by using the EA logos and the used the NBA log as well. This gave me a good start for me. I then decided on a starting point.  I had to chose a good character to begin with. This was Rondo. I had cut his figure but then ended with this figure here. I used and filtering and then other techniques. I had other choices to make the filter but then chose the glass feature. After using this feature i then created other ideas. I switched to splashes in the background to using a better logo but in the end. I then changed my character to Kobe Bryant. Then i changed my plans. I erased the background and placed a filer over Kobe Bryant. After a few tires i ended with this ended copy. It was good but then decided to finish it and ended with a opacity filter. This is how I finished my Art Cover.
Began with the background then with the logos and then with the Rondo.

Then ended with this, Logos intact but with Kobe Byrant. As you can see a more refined design with more ideas put in.
