FeelingsI felt sick and had a bad stomach ache so i couldnt run as much as i wanted to.

I had a stomach ache but i kept on trying so i can keep up with others.

Felt really good after the run, probably because i got used to the running.

Need to get use to cross country because im getting exhausted.

When i was running, i got tired so i started to lose my pase. So after, i tried not to lose my pase. I had a stomach ache during two practices so i couldn’t do my best. After i finished running, I was breathing heavy when we did cross country for the first time of the year. My breathing slowed down after I got used to running, but sometimes i felt dizzy. Unlike last year, i was not proud of my running and since I missed the CROSS COUNTRY DAY because i went to DRAMA FESTIVAL, I could not beat my rank.

Outcome goal- 1) Run one lap without stopping or lossing my pase. 2) Beat each time, each practice.

Process goal- Using techniques to keep myself going, such as listening to music, self talk, and breathing rhythm.

I used the technique self talk, music, and breathing rhythm to try to achieve my goals. Self talk- talked positive to myself so i can make myself keep on going. Music- To keep rhythm and getting your mind off running or the pain you feel (being tired). Breathing- Have a breathing rhythm to keep yourself from exhausting.

I would give myself a 6/8 because I tried hard to keep up and. even though, i was not that positive about running i did not give up.

    Hi Shion,
Why did you only do 4 runs? Its very hard to improve in only 4 runs. Did you do any other runs outside of school? I liked reading about your strategies and thoughts. It would have been nice to see you improve over more running sessions.
