In this Drama unit we have been doing mime!

What did I explore today? In this unit?

I learnt some more facial expressions and hand and body gestures.

What did I learn?

Mime is a technique to express your idea without sound and noises. It’s a complete silence play. It’s really important to over express your facial expression so that the viewers can understand what you are expressing. You should imagine that the viewers are stupid and you have to explain in fine detail what you are doing but with out sound!

How can I use this in performance?

Well you can do what you wanted in this play so you could be really funny and make the viewers laugh or anything like begging really straight forward and don’t talk!

What did I know?

I knew that mime was with out sound but now i know how to do lots of things in miming

What do I want to know?

How to make it look a hole lot more realistic!
