I woke up at 6:00 and we had to be at YIS at 6:45. The bus left at 7:00. On the bus I mostly went on my iphone and talked. The bus ride was about 5 hours long. We arrived at the camp site at 12:30 and ate lunch. I ate my pack lunch which was a sandwich. At 1:30 we set up our tents with the help of the Evergreen staff and Me Charles, Marshall, Harry and James were all in one tent. After putting up the tents we went on a treasure hunt around the area. we left to the treasure hunt around 2:30. We had a list of things that we had to find along the way. To find our way around there were check points which told us a degrees to go in but we had to find that degrees on a compass. There were twelve checkpoints that we had to go through to finish the hunt. Each checkpoint sign had a question on it that we had to answer. Our leader was Jade who is one of the evergreen staff. During the hunt we climbed up steep ski hills that were closed until winter. The people who were in my group were Niel, Michael, Anju, Naomi, Emily, Aiki and Marii. When we got back from the treasure hunt it was time for dinner. For dinner we had beans and rice which was really good. After eating dinner we had to clean our plates and then get ready for bed.
