Where do values come from?

My values are Tolerate, Honesty, Happiness, Independence, Hard work, Responsibility, Team work, Cooperation, Friendship and Safety. These Values come from my daily life. This includes school life. When we look at the school life, we can’t live without communicating to each other. We all have friends. We talk, play and learn from each other. From that Values, Tolerate, Team work, Friendship and Cooperation comes out. These Values are always important. But if you think separately, Independence is also important. You need to be independent for example, learning to go around by your self or to study or have a think by yourself without parents help and try to do your best. I think that’s one of the stages I think it’s important to overcome by yourself. Other than that come from my action and thoughts. The values, safety, honesty and Happiness comes from my actions in daily life. If you act carefully you can be safe. Being safe is one of the most important value you should remember. If you have a big crash you might die. Also Happiness. When in your life, you make your brother or anybody in your family down or upset not also the family but also you will be upset about the crash you had one your family. So I think my values are really important in our daily lives and I really want people to have these Values in their mind always.

You have included many of your values and why they are important. I enjoyed reading your posts and learning about your views. I would have liked to read more about how you think your values are formed – which you did at times throughout your post. You did put thought in to your reflection and I do see you acting out the values you are speaking about in this post. Thanks Yong Won.
