G7 Drama Unit 2 – Speaking Body Reflection

I have improved my speaking skills after doing this speech. I was always really nervous, but in this speech I was really confident which helped me through out the speech
What are the strengths and weaknesses in your final speech?
My strengths in the speech are speaking loud and clear to the audience as well as eye contact. I didn’t read my palm cards, which something I actually usually do. But in the other hand, my weaknesses in the speech is forgetting what to say. When that happends, I have to look at my palm card. That is something I really have to work on, improvisation.
Is your speech successful? Why or why not? (Refer to key terminology)
In think my speech was alright. I would give my self a, I think my speech was 70% successful, and 25% unsuccessful. I think this is because of my improvisation. When I forget to say something, then I have to look on my palm card and then I can not find where I am so there is this small gap of silence sometimes.
What could you do to further improve your process and speech?
Even though I was very confident this time, I think I can still be a bit more, which could really help my speech for becoming great. I think that is it because I don’t say like, um or uh or those type of things. I am really proud of my speech and I think I did an alright job.
