I am very happy with my tutorial. The reason is I think I explained my steps well and also it was organized.  I didn’t like my voice because it sounded tired. I think I should fix that part next time i make a tutorial. If I could change my tutorial to make it better I think I would have given a bit more effort and maybe make the background lighter so the viewer can see the tutorial properly.

My favorite part in my project was the create. What I liked about the create part was that I could film my tutorial as many times as I want to and when I am finally satisfied  I can edit my video until its perfect. I don’t have a least favorite because all of it was fun but the create would be the best. What I would  change if I was the teacher would  be giving a bit more time and no homework because we have exams and its not so convenient.

My strengths in this project were when I was filming and editing because I think that I am better at that. My weaknesses was probably in the Plan section because when I was  looking for times when to film or when to edit or to hand in the work.

How did I grow as a learner during this project? I think that I used my time wisely and I developed my skills in Imovie. I will use a lot tips I learnt in class if i will make another tutorial in the future. Maybe in other classes or even in university. I think my  tutorial that I made now is really cool and if I make another one it will be better! Thanks for reading!!!

As you all remember, in tech class, we are learning about tutorials. One of the activities we didwas to choose a tutorial and make a blog post. Then we commented other peoples blogs forexample I commented on Masaki’s and Em’s blog.

Masaki’s tutorial that he chose was how to throw a screwball. What I have learnt in that tutorial was… how to throw a screw ball LOL but what I thought he did well was that he showed each step on how to throw the ball. What Emily chose was Betty’s Vanilla Banana Milk shake. What I have learnt was what ingredients were needed for making VBMS.

What I have learnt in this unit was how to embed a youtube video to my blog, how to make a presentation on google doc, and some small details on google docs. Another thing I learnt was when you are drawing something that has to be very detailed, you should use timelapses so that your viewers wont get bored.

I think the tutorial from youtube was better than mine, because mine was very simple and that was the first tutorial I have ever made. To make a good tutorial, I will have to have a clear voice and show all of my steps on How to.. for example ..Play on Transfromice.

I have just finished all the blog reflections, The Investigate, Plan, Create and now the last Evaluate. I am very happy that we are finishing this project and that my blog will look really good. It is because that my blog really looks pro! hehe! But also because this took a really long time to finish this project. If I were the teacher, I would not change anything because I think Miss Cofino does a really great job.

I think I had a a few weaknesses and some strengths. I think my weaknesses were that i always took  long time doing my reflections and handing in my work. I think I worked well with other students and I was good in changing my blog around.

I think I got lots of help from my teacher and I got most of the help from my friends. The ones that helped me the most were Emily and George so I am thanking them sooooooooo much for making my blogs better.

A week ago in tech class, we were doing a new project. The first thing we did was to change our blog a bit. In this part, we changed some of our widgets. I did not really edit the widgets because I already did it a long time ago. The next task we did was to create an About me page to introduce ourselves. Inside the About me page, I talked  about  my favorite things and like where I come from. Right now, I am very happy with my blog because it looks professional but I still want to improve it. I am also happy with my blog design because I really love water and rain and my blog design are about raindrops but I do hope that it will be possible to make. I don’t think I need to know anything else to make my blog bigger. I know how to make my blog better, such as more posts, photos, and some cool decorations.

I liked the rain drop plan because I think it was the the most entertaining one. I liked it because i think it would be fun to look at and i want people to think that it is good. There was one that i liked but I preferred the rain drop one.

I made my boxes like rain drop shape because i love water. I wanted my background to look like its real rain drops. I also wanted my title to look like it was made of water.

Yes, I want to learn more like I want my blog to like it was made by a profesional person. I also want to know how I can change the text boxes shape. I also want to know how to change the colour of them.

Every body had to wake up very early to pack our bags and carry our suitcases to the buses. I felt that the week had gone really quickly.  I learnt more about nature and how really important it is to care for the environment and noticed how much cleaner the air is here compared to Tokyo and Yokohama. I think it went quickly because I had such a great time! After breakfast, we went on the buses and it was finally my turn to go rock climbing and I really ejoyed myeslf because I love it.

It took me only a minute to do the easy course but with the really hard one I nearly finished it but I slipped. I was really disappointed and came back down.After the climbing the other bus came and then we said good bye to our great guides and then left for Yokohama. On the bus, I watched one of my favourite German comedy shows on my Ipod. Everyone was really tired including me and I actually fell asleep!  When we were getting  closer to Yokohama we hit alot of traffic but I started to get excited. Eventually we arrived at YIS and said good bye to everyone.

On our first night in Hakuba, we stayed in tents. Late at night, my tent friends told each other scary stories. I think this is one of my good ones but I’m not sure if it goes like this: In America there was a crazy murder going around the neighbourhood. Police went to investigate. Trying not to tread on the bodies, they took pictures of each one. One policeman saw something written on the opposite wall but he couldn’t read it. He walks over to it and sees the numbers “7734″ written in blood. When taking pictures of this, he turned his camera upside-down and told an approaching police officer. When he pointed with the hand that the camera was in, he accidentally took a picture of the upside-down numbers. He was about to delete the picture when he realized something. The numbers were now a word. The word was “hELL.” All my friends were really scared. Then it was my friends turn but we got bored of scary stories so we changed to funny stories. I talked about fairies and cottencandy  land and crazy stuff like that but then I got tired so we went to sleep. Few days later we all had to perform our skits to the grade!!! My groups skit was about a really mean teacher that hates the kids and so they turn the teacher into a lady than lady cant stop talking about Or-Gans!Then they turn the teacher into a baby and then a ballet teacher, teacher that is a raps and finally a mad scientist. The scientist makes a time machine and travels to the future. When we arrived there was an old man and he looked like one of the students so he asks, “What is your name Mister?” The old man responds “Axel Larson (the students name) then he faints. Then the old man tells the other student ” I remember the day when I turned my teacher into a mad scientist and suddenly the mad scientist screams, “We are in the future” the old man said its you oh my gosh its you!!! ahhhhh.” The mad scientist was all confused and said, ” What was that all about? Anyways let’s go.” Then they went to the past and there were in the time when there were was the homo Erectus. Then the mad scientist started fighting with one. In the end they travel back to school and every thing was normal even the teacher. The teacher brings the kids to the principals office. suddenly the principle acts all strange and in real its a homo Erectus. Axel and Michael were the students, George was the old man and Neil was the homo Erectus and I was The Ballet, Rapper and Lady teacher and the baby and the mad scientist. Thanks to my team we were number 1 yay and i also liked my friends skit.

In tech class we did lots of activities that helped us to make a good blog. One of the activities that we did was to see what was on the side bar of the blog and do explain what they do. We also looked around other peoples blog and then we wrote three good things that they have done to help us on our own blogs like one blog was about a ramen shop and it showed where good ramen shops are in japan and also other links that go to other peoples blogs that are about ramen. We did one that was about what we think that we are going to write about on our blogs like i did places that i have traveled around to like england or germany or hawaii or  other examples. Some had lots of colours and some had lots of pictures and that is pretty buch want i want on my blog.

Tent disaster

I woke up at 4:30 in the morning and I woke up because the water on the side of the tent dripped on to my face. Then my friends woke up and we talked for  a wile but then we got out at 6:50.we had breakfast and then got ready for activities.

Activities

first I did the mountain biking. I took the hard course which was not that easy but its was fun. When we arrived we had a brake when the other group came we lunch. After, I did my 2 activities which was canoeing. In my canoe was Mia and Kate. We won the race yay! any ways then we packed our clothes and then went to our hotel and it was right next to the ski lifts.

Then we got in and i was in room 403 which had 2 floors!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!    On the first floor there was 2 beds and the bath room and then there were stairs that go up and there was a tatami room. We already made our beds and then we watched TV. at 7:30 pm we went down stairs which meant LOTS of stairs because our room was on the 4th floor. Then we had dinner which was very good and then went back to our rooms. I got bored so I went to my friend Emily and May’s room and we watched this funny thing on TV. I went back to my room and 1 of my friends was already a sleep! and my other was getting really really tired so i went to bed and guess what happened i could not go to sleep because it was toooooooooo hot so I slept down stairs on the floor.
