P.E Cross Country

Hello, this time I am going to talk about cross country at school. We run around Negishi Park that is 2.8 km. It is a really good challenge for me of being faster and getting better in soccer and make my strength, running. I am starting to get faster and faster through more practice. This is my time in Cross Country running:

  1. Oct.3rd         10:53
  2. Oct. 6th        10:28
  3. Oct. 11th      10:30
  4. Oct. 13th      10:24
  5. Oct. 17th      10:41
  6. Oct. 31st      10:35
  7. Race             10:09
  8. +Runs with the YIS cross country club
  9. +Runs in Yamanakako 1km, 5laps
I was only able to remember some, not all.
Outcome Goal: run under 10 minutes
This goal is really challenging for me because I have never ran near 9:00, I don’t care if I can’t achieve it this year but I would like to achieve it between this year and next year.
Process Goal: My process goal is to run in a faster rhythm. I think that this would make my outcome goal possible and able to do it between next year.
Reflection
Throughout this Cross Country unit I was able to encourage my self and I got my best time that is 10:09. I think I was able to encourage myself by always thinking that there was someone right behind me, and someone in front of me. And at the race I was able to encourage my mental and physically because there really were people in front of me. This had encouraged me a lot. I think there is a huge difference in the mental part of having someone in front of you and running and having no one in front of you. And in this race I did not only have people in front of me I was able to have a close distance between between with the person back of me. I think I had learned that the sport of running, stamina is also important too, but like other sports the mental gives a huge difference in running and time. I also thought that conditions was another big part of running. I was always slow when it was week B’s first PE lesson, which was monday morning. My muscles weren’t woke up at that time so I was not able to run fast. I think that sleeping fast and waking fast could easily affect the run.

I think that I was able to achieve 7.
