Describe the progress have you made so far. You are encouraged to compare/contrast it to your first speech.

I think that in the first speech whenever I made a mistake, I stopped and made it obvious that I had made a mistake. But in my 2nd speech I was able to keep the speech going. Also I think that I did better on my tone and clearness. In the first practice speech I think that my voice and tone was unclear enough, but in my 2nd speech I think that my tone and clearness was understandable. Also in my 1st speech, I didn’t really do my planning out of my speech so it did not go smooth. But in the 2nd speech I think that the speech was smooth.

What are the strengths and weaknesses in your final speech?

I think that my strength in my final speech is that, it was quite smooth and I projected my voice. I think that  it was easier for people to understand when the speech is smooth. Also I think I had a good amount of volume. My volume wasn’t too loud that it was hard to hear nor it was so soft it was also hard to hear. But I also had weaknesses. I think my weaknesses was that after the hook (my question) I did not give time for the audience to think. My weakness is that I am not able to stop and pause a little. I think that if I pause during the speech, I will become an effective speaker.

Is your speech successful? Why or why not?

I think that my speech was successful. I also did have parts that were unsuccessful, but I think that my speech was successful enough. My successful parts were that my voice was really easy to understand. And I think that my unsuccessful parts of my speech is that I didn’t have much eye contact and I was hurrying.

What could you do to further improve your process and speech? 

As I said, I think that pausing could make me improve. I think that by pausing the audience will get a bigger impact. Also I think that I have to work on my hook. I think that my hook was too weak it did not really cash people’s minds.
