Humanities Project on Child Labour

March 16, 2012 by 17jacobsn

In this unit we have been looking at child labour. Child Labour is when children are forced to work in dangerous or non dangerous to earn money for their family. I have learned that this is a very sirious matter because many of these children get killed when working in factories. The children working on the farm are known to have a lot better health and not as many die a day. At the begging of this project we worked in partners and talked about what children do in these factories or farms. We were assigned a job either Doctor, Child Worker, Lead Aturnaty, Loyer, or a Factory owner. I was a Doctor named Harry Smith and my loyer was Aki. We had to make questions and I (the doctor) had to answer them with true information.

Please enjoy my video.

After this stage we went in to groups and decided to be either on the Awarness group or the Action group. I decided to be in the action group. I got in to a group with Marii and Jennifer. We wanted to raise money to spend to the kids that have to do child labour today. We would still need more time to do this. Other people in my class made a Facebook site. Please click. To raise your awarness of child labour please watch this movie.
