I think this poem was interesting how to poet describes the three peoples' feeling. I like how this is magic realism. They have a situation that can occur in real life. At the end it turns into a fiction story. I also think your explanation was good. because it was understandable and was descriptive. This poem reminds me when I have trouble in real life, but suddenly got over it. So overall, I think this poem is great to read and your explanation was well written.

I agree. I also think that the poem “tuesday 9:00 am” is showing different feelings that people might have. Its also using natural aspect to show and explain the emotions that the author is trying to show. The first man, that is one fire could be angry and mad. The second woman, the one that is drowning could be sad and crying. The water could be a metaphor for the tears. And final the last woman, the one that is freezing, could show the emotion depressed or again sad.

It is interesting to see that you interpreted the poem as a reference to different feelings. I interpret the poem differently. I think that conveys the message that too much of anything is never good. The woman who was frozen with ice wanted to move closer to the man on fire so the ice on her would melt. The man on fire wanted to move closer to the woman who was flooding so that the fire on him would be gone. This relates to real life problems. Floods, fires, and too much ice are all problems.

I can relate to how the people in the poem represent feelings. The fire, water, and ice are symbols that are often used to show feelings. I think that you should have also focused a bit on the bus driver with visions. Overall, I think that you managed to explain your interpretations well.

I agree with you, it is very interesting read how Denver Buston describes the 3 peoples feelings. I liked when he described one of the first lady "Water was everywhere in her mouth and ears in her eyes" by describing her cry with water, in my head it creates a imagery of a lady crying really hard next to an angry man. I wonder why did Denver Buston titled this poem "Tuesday 9:00 A.M." it could be Monday, Wednesday... is there a meaning behind Tuesday for Denver Buston. Lastly, I did not really understand the last part of the poem about the driver not noticing that none of them has paid and attacked by wild dogs?

"When we think about child labor, images come to mind of children working in dark factories or inhospitable streets of big cities. Documentary ""The Invisible Children"" breaks this perception by showing the harm that children face by losing their right to education, health, play and so on.

Marii,

Nice presentation!

You could make the slides more, and write information more briefly!

Good thing that you didn't forget to put in sources though, I really like it!

Keep going like that, you are doing so well!

Hey Marii,
First of all, nice work :)
Your title page is eye catching, and "Information about Caramel" page is kind of empty... I think you if you put a picture, it would of been better.
I think your "Results and Predictions" oage was well done :)
