The previous weeks in technology class we have been practicing how to make tutorials within tech, we have been using alot of google docs and presentation to finally make our tutorial.
Firstly we were at the “RESEARCH” stage and did a research sheet to learn how to do a effective and good tutorial. We chose the best one and said why it was so good.
After that we were at the “ANALYZE” stage where we Embeded our best tutorial we watched onto our blogs, next on the same stage we commented two other students blogs and their best video. I commented Claude’s blog where I learned which colours especially to make a dragon look really cool and Neils Blog where I learned basically just how to do a kickflip at all, and also the names of all the parts of a skateboard, because I don’t know anything about skateboards.
After analyze we did were at the “PRACTICE” stage and we made our own tutorial, which I will embed during this lesson. I was very proud for this presentation, because it looked very professional, during this stage I learned the most for example making shapes on a Google docs presentation and even just adding a new slide on a presentation, I also now know exactly how to make a screen-shot on a mac computer.
The difference between my tutorial and the eye-drawing is firstly that the eye-drawing tutorial is that that my one is slides, the eye-drawing tutorial is more like a movie. There was also a difference because my one had not my hands included, but the eye-drawing was filmed.
To learn how to make a great tutorial I need to learn how to like film the screen without having to hold a camera, for example making a presentation but not with pictures but movies.

Great job Axel! You learned a lot during this stage and it sounds like you’re ready to move on to the Plan and the storyboard. During the Create stage, you will use QuickTime to screencast (take a move of your screen) – you’re going to love it! Looking forward to seeing you back at school soon!
