It is wonderful to see your process and improvement. Good running shoes make a difference, don’t they? It’s not about shoes of course, but it is important to have proper equipment. Also sometimes having the right gear encourages you to run more – like you went running on weekends. You must be satisfied with your results at the end of cross country unit! What score would you give yourself out of 8?
