I thought your answers were good but you could have gone into more depth at times. Katie, you are a very fit and athletic student and you offer a great deal with your running. Working hard on your technical skills will increase your level of achievement here. And finally, I thought your attitude was very good. It was clear that you enjoy being active and sociable.

It is nice ot know the history that some people used to have debates at cafes. Now, it would seem unusual if we do that. This really shows how much change there was between now and then.

I really want to know about your 2nd and 3rd strategies! Would you tell me in person? I will keep them a secret! I am glad to know you enjoyed running with the Ishinomaki students. I heard those students run every single day. I have been to Ishinomaki twice after the earthquake, the scenery is very different there than in Yokohama. I really hope they enjoyed running with us in beautiful Negishi park. Your practice definitely helped your improvement even though you worried about your knee. Congratulations to you! It’s not about the medal. It’s about yourself!
