I hope everyone is ok after the big earthquake we had on March 11th, 2011 (Friday).First, it was said that it was 8.8 in the actual northern part, but it changed, and became 9.0.
This is the biggest earthquake I’ve ever had in my life, but I didn’t think that it was that big when I was actually under the table. I was in art class, when the earthquake had happened, and was relief that the tables there were quite big. After the earthquake had stopped for a while, my classmates and I went to our next class that was on the 3rd floor; English. I was hoping that there were no other time to go under the table, as the tables here were really small, and had a metal tube in the middle part, and we had to squish. :-( Students were not allowed to go home even if they live close to the school unless their parents had called the office. Students were also not allowed to go out of the classroom unless they had to go to the washroom.
Hopefully, at around 7:00, we went down to the first floor where the other 6th graders were.
When it was about 8:00, I was called from the school announcement that my dad has come to pick me up. I was relieved. I also let one of my friend come over to my house as she lived in Tokyo.
I hope everyone is okay, and no more earthquakes. Please!
