Grade 6
My Goals:

1. Improving my English
Improving my English was something I have been working since elementary. From my point of view, I think my English has been improving, but not as much as the others. I am still not really good at Spoken English, when I act while I present my speech. I think I have meet my goal, and expanded my vocabulary skills, through the past years I have been in YIS. As the main language in YIS is English and I use Japanese at home with my family, I think my English has been improving, but I also hope my English will get better.

2. Organization
From the start of the year, I was hoping for the lockers to be bigger and better than the ones we had in 5th grade.This was probably because I thought I would be able to improve my organizational skills, if I had a better locker; like the ones we have now, in 6th grade. I think organization is one of the most important skills during the school year. My diary has been a good help for me, especially for my home works, and things I need for the next day. My locker has been in the cycle of clean to messy while one day goes on. I don’t think this skill will ever be something I will forget, and I will still be using and improving in the future. For this, I think I have met this skill.

3.Time
Time management is like organization, and is very important like the due date for home work or an assignment. I think I have met this goal during the school year. This also helped me start my home work straight as I got home, and to not be doing things I want to first, then the things I want to second, but doing what I don’t really enjoy first, then doing what I want to last.
