1: Most welsh people like to play rugby, especially in Spring and Autumn. And boys likes to play soccer, rugby, and skateboarding. One thing I have noticed is that nobody in this class wrote ‘Track and field’ as their favorite sport. And also that people did not write water skiing as their favorite sport either.
U.S.A.- Football U.K.- Rugby and soccer Sweden- Skiing Germany- Soccer and Bicycling Japan- Baseball People had different athletes that people liked. The most famous athlete was a soccer played named, Zinedine Zindane.
2: I like to play soccer in YIS. Personally, I prefer swimming and tennis than volleyball. I wish that YIS has a swmming pool and a tennis court, so I can join those sports at YIS. I like basketball, rugby and soccer. I have couple of reasons why I do not like those sports. Firstly, the team that I am on teammate that we do not do much. Secondly, because I am scared that the ball will hit on me. Thirdly, my leg gets tired easily, and I am afraid that some day, while playing those sports, I will literally break my whole right leg.
I met them when we arrived at Negishi park. When we first met, of course it was awkward, but I started to introduce myself to Misaki and Rinka, a Ishinomaki girls. We start to talk how nervous we are about the cross country and encouraging each other. Since I heard that Ishinomaki students were very fast runners from my friends, I thought that I would not be 1st place like last year. I gave up thinking that I could do this. For the first lap, I became first. And one of Ishinomaki girl in 8th grade went past me. To cheer her up, I said in Japanese, ‘Ganbattekudasai 頑張ってください’. And for the rest of the race, she was first and I was second as a whole race. After finsihing a hard, and long race, I went over to that 8th grade girl who was first and congratulated her. And, of course, she congratulated me back. I felt so happy and proud that I talked with a girl who was lucky to survive from the earthquake and the tsunami. It felt really good and refreshing when running with those girls. And my friends were right: Ishinomaki students were fast 🙂
Hello merry early christmas,
I have just finished an essay for science. The essay topic was a choose of several diseases, I chose H1N1. The things in my essay I am proud of is the amount I wrote as well as the type of scientific language I used. The main thing I found difficult was I don’t really get word limits that often so trying to get that far with kinda pressure did make it a bit harder for me.
I think I did pretty well because when I did preformes was ok I thought my biggest downfall was I was listing to the song in my head but I wasn’t listing to what I was playing on the piano.
Merci d’avoir lu mon blog français
In the art journal I did I used many different type’s of drawing’s and colour as well as the different types of writing. When I was looking over my visual journal one more time I realized that I had a type of drawing that I saw in Futurrama and I think that is what inspired me on day 2 on the hike. When I finished my journal I kept checking over it. It took me till about the 7th time to realize that there was something wrong, so I think I need to have a bit more of an eye when I look over my work. The things I think I did well on is use of writing as well as the use of imagination. I think my cons were that I didn’t put enough consternation in my work as well as the things we learned in class.
recently I have ran a 2.6 km run for my school with student’s that the school is sponsoring due to the March 11th earthquake 石巻市 (ishinomaki). However I am here to write a reflection on myself on the cross-country day. I had one process goal and one outcome goal. The process goal is something that you would try to achive to get your outcome goal. I had two of them one of them was not to run with my friend., the other was not to walk during every practice. An outcome goal is a goal that you would try to achive over the cross country unit. I had one outcome goal and that was for every practice and the actual race to be 5 minutes better than my last years best, which was 17minutes and 30 seconds, so therefore I did achive my outcome goal. In the time between the first practice and the actual cross country day I went out for a 30 minute jog and the park outside my house, which is 0.37 miles, three times a week.
Thank you for reading my blog entry.
HERE is the link to my PE project.
My name is Jamie I am 11 years of age and I was involed in the Japanise earthquake. I have asked to be your pen pal untill you come to YIS. Well the school hasnt changed but Japan its self has. The way the Japanise are and they cant eat one of their main dishes now and that is fish and/or squid and that has a major affect as well as the sking witch is used with snow and sking is up north so thats around where Shibuya and no one is taking a risk. So thats about it.
this was an extra credit asiment witch was to send a hyperthetical e-mail to a student hyperthetical one and tell them as a pen pal what its like here in Japan.
I was in the Japan earthquke and I have been told to write about it in my blog.
After the earthquke we were just waited for about an hour, before the only contact we had with anyone else outside the school, was with the computers. The first thought that came to my mind was I need to e-mail my dad and I couldnt e-mail my mum because she had been on flight from guam and so she had to go back. So I go on my gmail and I e-mail my Dad then five minutes later I get an e-mail back saying ” I’m on the highway its jam packed I will be a while”. So then I thought ” what other way can I get in touch with my mum to let her know that I’m ok. Facebook! She wont see strait away but still hopefuly she will see it. The advantiges were on gmail and facebook were that they both had perfect conection ( because of the school’s back up power ) and it was very smart of them to have one. When I finaly got back I was taken home by my older friends mum which refused to leave without me. So the school head finaly said ok fine and anouced my name on the tannoy and I got to leave. After a few hours my dad got to the house of my older friend and we got to go home my older friends mum said sleep downstairs just incase there is another earthquake and you need to get out fast. So the next mornig I wake up and see the T.V. on and I was really surprised because we had no electricty so yeah and it was taklking about how this earthquake was going to be in the top five biggest earthquake in history. The first thing I thought was ” WOAH! ” but then I heard about the tsunami and I was like ” uh oh “.
My mum thinks that some of the things there saying is not true like the water for inctece. One day they say its theres something wrong with the water and the next they say its fine and we need to use it so we can keep hydrated I mean what are they puting in the water could it be unsafe? Are they lying to us? But whatever it is my mum and dad and his collegs dont like it. The most wierdest of all is when they let a CNN crew into the necular plant wich if I may add was letting only the most higly trained in. And was was close to the room where the crack of reactor nuber three was. I mean dont get me wrong they are doing a great job but if they are letting a reporter and a camera man into the plant that means there must be something their not telling us.
