During our third unit, we students, were introduced to creating collages. Our unit question was “How do we visually communicate a concept or theme?” We investigated if collages/cut paper can be used to express meaning, statement, memory or story.

This unit, wasn’t too difficult for me. As my teacher said, collages are about time and effort. I think I’m one of the types that take time and do my work calm and peacefully. So I used my time and used my technique, where i overlap all my papers, and make it look really detailed. I think this technique worked really well, and I think my sky was expressed well. Also, I think my tones for the sky was good, how I changed the tone from light to dark little by little.

If I were to do this collage again, I would use my time more wisely. I think that I was distracted my things that were off task, and I couldn’t do my best. So if I were to do this collage again, I would do my really best to concentrate all my knowledge on my work.

Overall, I think my collage went good, and this unit was really peaceful and really enjoying for me.
