Cross country Unit

In cross country unit, I was really feeling gloomy… I like running for short distance, however, I hate long distance, so I was nervous when I get to the start line. The path was about 1 km for 1 lap, though we had to run 2 laps.

When it was the day for the final cross country day, the weather looked fine, and the view was good. I felt exciting when I get to the park, unless we had to run… When I went to the start line, I was so nervous again!! But what ever costs, I had to do it. I had to try my best. When I finished running, it was a disaster of sweats. However, I was proud that I runned with my effort!!!

At the end, our guest, Mr. Kimihara came visit us for listning to his speech. I deeply agreed with his words. I thought that I might do more practice and try cross country running faster.

Hakuba Day.5

It was the day for going back to our school.  I know I was really anxious and full with fear before going to the camp, but actually I had a lot of fun. And I can’t believe that I am typing the blog for last day of camp (haha)… Well, there was one more activity to go. It is lake & road clean-up!! We had to find the rubbish in the lake and road, then separate them into the group of plastic and paper. However, I wasn’t really finding for rubbish with sort of laughing and chatting.

After we had finished, we went to the place where the busses were waiting. We all said good-bye to evergreen staffs, Teddy and Sky.

We all had lunch in the bus, and arrived to YIS. After 5 hour ride, I refreshed with Yokohama air, unless it was cold!!

Thats all for the field study’s reflection.

The End

Investigate Reflection

During this technology class, for brain storm, and blog research I learned that the blog can be free to plan and write what we are interested. For that, people know about many people’s personality.

I thought that good blog has a imformation that is easy to read, because its paragraph are concise and has pictures to show the images.

For example, my blog, I want to write about my favorite clothing brand “Angel Blue”.

So I want to take a picture of my clothes and how I coordinate them.

I will explain what I liked about the cloth, and type in my comment underneath the photo.

I will use the criteria of pictures, links, grammer & spelling, simple, and easy to understand writing.

For pictures, I chose it, becasuse it makes the blog easier to understand.

For links, I want put links of the clothing brand so everyone can see extra details.

For grammer & spelling, I want the blog to always be precise.

For simple, it is neccesary for the blog to be easy to understand and people will have a interests.Screen shot 2010-11-30 at 8.53.33 AM

Hakuba Day.4

Time is flying, and today is the final night for Hakuba. Well, let’s get on to our story now.

Today we had a day hiking. The path was full of dirt, leaf, and rocks. Especially, the rocks were easy to slip, so I had to pay attention with it. And also, there were two dogs name “Teddy” and “Sky.” Everyone was interested, so some people was planning who is after who by walking Teddy or Sky… I was exhausted, and I was thinking that why is everyone are still active with hiking for long time?? Also pardon me by walking with Teddy and Sky. I know they are adorable, but they might run with excitement. That’s why I refuse walking them…

In about 3 hours, we took a picture on the mountain. It was misty, and I felt like I’m in the cloud. I guess the group of chowa people might put this picture on the year book ^^

Furthermore 1 hours, we went to the goal, and enjoyed our Indian curry and Chai tea. Then, we practiced our skits. My skit group was 6 people, and it was the same group as the hot-air-balloon. We had so much fun that time. I couldn’t wait for presenting our skits!! I wonder what are others skits about. I wonder how it will go with our skit. I was waiting eagerly until after dinner. At about 7:30, we finally started our skits party. I was nervous and excited. When we presented our skits I was glad that everyone had laughed and enjoyed our skit, and it looked like our group was also having fun. I felt I became more Communicator.

I thought it was the greatest night ever at camp!!!

My Comment:

I thought I should improve more for volume and expression for the scene.

Hakuba Day.2

Today was the second day for Hakuba! Now let’s begin the story.

Today we went canoeing and mountain biking.  First, I would like to tell about canoeing. It was the first time I went, so I was really nervous. Moreover, I started to get a stomach ache. I was worried that the boat might flip over, whether it was really safe. My heart was beating faster, but what ever the costs, I had to do it… @_@;;  I went to the boat with my group mates, and time to go!! It was so hard to control the boat, and I was struggling about which way to go. It took about an hour to get to the goal. However, in the end, we are able to enjoy the canoeing. Next, we did mountain biking. I thought it would be a peace of cake, because I had done it in 4th grade camp. But the path was so complicated because first place was bumpy with tiny rocks… I was scared and deeply regret, because other people went by bycicle to “Himekawa”, though I rode the ban, and kept looking down. When I got to the place where it was a normal road, I tried to do my best by not stopping or drag the bycicle. Sure it was tough, but finally when I get to the goal, I felt I’ve over came from the fear. I felt I became a Risk-taker and be brave, what ever happened.

Hakuba Day.3

It is already day 3. Today at night we rode on hot-air-balloon. It was the first time for me, and I wonder how high it would be. And I heard its 30 meters!! High enough isn’t it…. I was excited, but still nervous a little. Well, when we got on, the view was great! (I tried not to look down at least…) Top of the hot-air-balloon was full of heat, and very hot. I have forgotten about being cold. It was a great experiment and I’ve enjoyed it so much, that I want to ride again ^^v

Mushroom In Treasure Hunt!!!

While I was walking in the mountain for the treasure hunting, I saw some students playing with something. I started wondering what they were playing with so I went closer and found out that it was a mushroom. They were stepping on the mushroom saying, “Spores are coming out! It’s poisonous!” It was funny and interesting to watch this, because I have learned about spores in science class and also read about it in “Longman Biology” text book. It was interesting to actually see the spores in real life, but it was mysterious too. I think I became an Inquirer and Thinker when this incident happened. However, I am also a little worried because the spores were all over the place and I breathed it in a little…but it was a good experience.

The End.

First Day Of Hakuba vol.1

6:30 – Time for leaving home…

Today was the first day for field study to Hakuba. I was very nervous, and, as I waited for mom to get the car ready, I was in the living room, walking this way and that way. My mom was saying, ” Don’t forget anything!!!” or “Do you need this?” etc. I appreciate her for being Caring to me. I arrived  at school, then met everyone in G.6, waiting at the outside the gate. Some were very excited because they were chatting a lot, some students were anxious, and some people were sleepy. Finally onto the bus… Once we were inside the bus, we had fun and I got excited for the camp.

It was the long ride that took about 5 hours. Kids were spending the time in the bus by listening to the ipod, one was singing (At last, Ms. Lythum got annoyed and begged her to stop), some kids were reading, and one was sleeping. Finally, we have arrived to Hakuba. Since we were in the cosy bus for a long time, when we got off the bus, we felt cold. No,  it was FREEZING!!
