What are the advantages and disadvantages of being an empire?

What are the advantages and disadvantages of being a colony?

When one country controls another, broadly, one government rule the extension or influence by one government the extension of rule or influence.

The advantages for being an Empire is: The country are able to retain their own histories, such as religion and important architecture. Therefore, to be an Empire has an advantages for improving their own place.

The disadvantages for being an Empire is: When an Empire becomes too huge, then Empires are possibly to be destroyed someday, by loosing from war and miss some of the parts in the Empire.

The advantages of being a colony is: It is able to gain money and some convenience things.

The disadvantages of being a colony is: Some country might get an idea of treating colony as a slavery, and people might take advantages of the poor.

What level did I operate on today? (0-8) and Why do I think this?

Level 4

Why? Because I am not that familiar with rugby, and I couldn’t really participate in sports with everyone.

However, I tried to write in some of the basic points for RWC.

G7 U1 International Games – Rugby World Cup assignment.

1. Watch at least one half of a game from the Rugby World Cup (Schedule).
Which game(s) did I watch?
-I watched the game Japan vs France on September 10th.
2 Write a brief introductory paragraph (about 4 sentences) starting with “The aim of Rugby Union is to….”
-The aim of Rugby Union is to organise rugby activity, including playing, coaching, and refereeing. They also support the volunteering workforce and they work with clubs to secure grants and loans for facilities. They also do fundraising, offer medical advice and support, and organise committees and trustees. Basically, the Rugby Union helps organise, promote and support various rugby activities.
3. The world cup running at the moment in New Zealand is the game of Rugby Union. Briefly (no more than 4 sentences) describe the difference between Rugby Union and Rugby League.
-The difference between Rugby Union and Rugby League is that the Rugby League is a league of professional Rugby League football clubs in Australasia and the Rugby Union is a national governing body for rugby clubs in England.
4. List the teams who have won the RWC in its entire history.
1987: New Zealand
1991: Australia
1995: South Africa
1999: Australia
2003: England
2007 South Africa
5. Choose one of the following to explain in detail: Knock on, Offside, Scrum, Line Out or Hooker.
-I saw a scrum, which a bound group of players from each team form a “tunnel” with the opposition. The defending players put the ball into the tunnel and each team pushes against each other until one player is able to hook the ball with the feet and push it into the back row players of his/her team.
6. In brief (no more than 4 sentences), explain where Rugby Union originated and how a pacific island nation came upon it.
-The British people had spread rugby football to the pacific island.
7. What examples of Internationalism are evident throughout the RWC?
- An evident throughout the RWC is: The national team from 20 countries participate RWC and play game in one place.

8. Identify an occasion in the RWC where an opportunity to learn about another culture was evident.

-New Zeland national team make performance of “war cry” which is a traditional ceremony of their aborigines.

9. Give evidence of an occasion in the RWC where two or more communities have come together in good spirit?

-The spirit of no side, which means both of the team respect to each other and make good relationship after the match.

10. Millions of dollars are spent on this event. Do you think it was money well spent? Yes/No, Why/Why Not?

-Yes, because through the RWC rugby football should be more popular in all over the world, especially the countries not related to British.
