- What changed in this performance compared to run through last week?
- How was the audience and how did you interact with them?
- Name one thing that was AWESOME/LAME in this experience
As you might expect, grade 8 had their clowning performance in front of three classes from grade 1, 3 and 5. First of all, I’m not the kind of character that does clowning so often. I am always chill in front of my class and people whom I’m not really familiar. I often clown around in front of my group of friends but I can’t produce funny stuff (entertain) to grade 8s.
Performance made some progress comparing to the one that run through last week. It got messed up with some misunderstanding and all those a-dribs for previous but for the real performance in front of elementary children, it was successful and I somehow was able to become in a good shape as a mum character. Above all, I was just glad when the children enjoyed our skit and give us laughter.
We interacted with the audience by asking questions (where are they?) and act as I got senile and the children tells me about what they see. I tried my best for this oaf character, but I thought the audiences were very cooperative as well to respond on our acting.
Awesome thing in this experience: Anyhow successful
Lame thing in this experience: I think lame is a bit harsh way to describe. I don’t think there were any, because I as a solo row (my other two group mates were twins), I did my best on myself of acting out my own character. I also thought my group mates did awesome job.
