My Student Led Conference Goals:
1. Manage time better during homework.
I think that I have achieved my goal of managing time better and staying on task mostly through the last few weeks. But how did I do it? Since most of our work is computer-based, I tried to avoid time-wasting websites such as YouTube, FaceBook, and Twitter. This allowed me to concentrate solely on my work, resulting in less time on social-networking sites, and more time doing school-related work. l admit that I still occasionally go on distracting websites, but just not as much.
2. Clean my locker more frequently.
Although I did accomplish my goal of managing time better while doing homework, I haven’t quite reached my goal of cleaning my locker more frequently. Honestly, I could’ve done this during lunch and break, but since break is my own time, I was too lazy to be bothered by the fact that my locker needs some cleaning.
3. Don’t get distracted during class or at home while doing homework.
Unlike the two other goals I had, this one is, shall I say, three-quarters done. In simpler words, I’m working on it. As I said in No. 1, I am managing my time better while doing my homework, by avoiding distracting websites such as YouTube, FaceBook, and Twitter.
