I really agree with Aki in this case. I feel as if that there are not two living creatures, but like Aki said, a huge metaphor. Because we grow up, and we take care of our selves. But when we try to stop taking care of ourselves, or body at least tries to make us eat, or sleep, like “I stopped feeding it, only to find that its growth has nothing to do with food. I stopped cleaning it and found that it cleans itself. I stopped singing it to sleep and found that it falls asleep faster without my song.” And also like Aki said, it seems like the poet might’ve gone into depression, or at least the person in the poem did.

I find this poem to be one large metaphor, hinted bluntly by the name of the animal and the title of the poem,”My Life”. The story seems to be about how one grows up, and eventually realizing that death is coming for everyone, including you. At that point, depression sets in, and people decide to give up on life, as shown by the lines,” I leave the animal alone and, for now, it leaves me alone, too. I have nothing to say, nothing to do. Between My Life and me, a silence is coming.” I think that this poet is a very depressed person to have ended the poem at this point.

I agree with your opinion about this poem. By reading, I saw that this poem was about 2 living things as you’ve mentioned. Also if I want to add something to your poem, I would include the name “My life” and the reason why the author named the creature. I think this is the main theme of the poem. By naming the creature/animal “My life” you can see on the 3rd line from the last, “Between My Life and me, a silence is coming.” the “My life”in the sentence doesn’t describe the creature. It describes the character’s actual life. The author included “My life” to make a interesting sentence which makes sense in both ways.

It is disappointing that you do not have pictures and links. Also it was not allowed to use the word learnt or any version of “to learn”. It is not very organized and sentence structure needs to be fixed. On the second line of the first paragraph, the ‘ss’ needs to be fixed. You change tenses and it is confusing. You repeat yourself, and the final 2 sentence is confusing. You had enough words though.

Your assignment displayed some good understanding of the concepts and whilst some more depth at times would have been helpful, I thought your initial thoughts were strong.
Michael, you are a skillful athlete, especially with a ball at your feet. I disagree with your self assessment. You showed that you operate at a level 8 for International Football. Your games sense and ball skill is very strong, along with your attitude. …and I think you should play soccer for the YIS team next year!
