Way less interesting compared to fb (Science- Checking the Battery)

So I am back with a short piece of information, which I might have mis heard, but was supposed to post on my blog. So here, you can see a small graph (done in pink) below, and by this, you can see how much battery power is consumed by doing the list of activities. Out of a big list, our group (Naomi, Mia, Sophie) have chosen the following:

1. Games

2. Max. Tab

3. Streaming

4. Max. Brightness + iMovie

(I believe you can enlarge this photo if you can’t see the words.)

So on to conclusions, we have found out that the maximum tabs and windows open would determine how much energy is used significantly, shown by the graph. But, according to our experiment, streaming (surprisingly) took the least amount of energy, which was surprising since different points such as advertisements and flashy screens might have taken a lot of energy. So I believe, to reduce of amount of energy use on a computer, you should avoid to open too much tabs, playing games, having the screen or keyboard on full brightness, and having to steam too much. Thank you so much for reading my (even though it’s real short) blog post :)

Thanks for this good analysis Hye-won. It’s short and succinct, but it reaches the required conclusion; I’ll try to have fewer tabs open in future if I’m running on battery. I like how your group used mAh instead of battery percentage because battery percentage will decrease at different rates in different computers (depending on battery care and usage) so this is a more accurate comparison.
