I think in the Gene Kelly dance and song “Dancing in the rain” was really good because he always showed happy expression and applys it in the right way in the right scene. The props suited the dance so well and his expression as well. And he used the space really well in the fact that he moved and kept the rythem and his fluent motions. He did really well and some day I would like to watch the movie.

Hello fellow bloggers
I am going to talk about our lamda exam this post. To start of we had to create a speach about a person we know then we had to pick three topics to talk about then we had to preform these tasks infront of an examiner that came from Englands speaking arts academy LAMDA. My speach about the person I new was on my dad. My topics were Canada, soccer and cooking. Then we had to practice infront of a camera. My practice was terible bacause I gat a tad bit scared so I started to speak quick and started to fidget with my hands. But when I went home I started to practice and then when I did my speach to the examiner I did alot better. Now we have to comment about how we did our body language, audibility, clarity and tone. I think that I could have reduced my body language to a limit and not fidgeted about and try to keep my eyes focused on the camera. I thought that my clarity was good and my audibility was alright but I have to face the camera a bit more so that people can hear me more. And I hope to reach these goals by practicing my speech or practicing any other talking topic more!!!!!:D

6C finished their first unit in Drama on improvisation. This has been a great way to start the year. Significant Concept: Responding to an external stimulus, one needs to have immediate action where there is a suspension of thought. Guiding Question: How can I suspend habitual pondering and re-act without thinking? Summative Task: Improv Theatre Sport Students will engage in summative Improv Theatre Sport Event. 3 theater sport games will be chosen from 6 theater games practised during the unit. Students are divided in 3 teams. Each student has a sheet with rubric to record the minimum of 2 games joined. Knowledge •Be aware of dramatic instinct. •The importance of the ensemble. Skills • Making an offer • Accepting offers • Giving the stage to others • Move the action on (advancing) • Creating a location
