1. Which applications do you think will be best to create a trailer? Why?

iMovie, because it is the easiest to use for me and it is designed to create videos. I may screen record some clips from keynote and Prezi, and use it in iMovie, but iMovie will be my final application and the main application I will use for editing.

2. Which applications do you think will be the least useful for creating a book trailer? Why?

Prezi, because it is not being designed to create videos, it is being designed to create presentations. It cannot put any background music, or audio recording and it has limited use of fonts and shapes.

3. Do you already feel confident about using the application? If not how much will you need to learn?

I am confident about using iMovie because I have created all of my videos for school works on iMovie and I know most of the functions on iMovie including the advanced tools like green screen, blue screen, picture in picture, and etc. I can also use the iLife audio samples in my clip so I do not have to make my own music for the film.

4. Do you think it makes more sense to choose an application and then start designing, or to design your trailer first and then choose an application to make it? Explain.

I think it makes more sense to design the trailer first. After designing the trailer, you can choose an application or multiple applications to make your design happen depending on the functions on the different applications.
