Project2: Evaluation Reflection

I liked the part when we plan because you can design the project any way we want. We get to use our imagination and create the plan and just thinking about making it happen, it is just awesome. My first plan about the theme of my blog was the BEST part of this whole year. But since I have a favorite part of the projects, there has to be the opposite side of it. My least favorite part of the projects is the Create part. Well, only if your plan would never work on the actual create part. Create part of the project is when you find out about the fact that some of your plans could never work and you will have to re-do most part of your plan.

If I was the teacher I would like to change about the investigate, practice, part of this project. instead of practicing, I think we should make a small draft about our tutorial and plan the final copy so we have an idea what to do in the plan.

I think I’ve learned the most in the investigate part of this project because that was the part where we find about “what is a tutorial?” “what does a good tutorial require?” and all other stuff we need to learn about this project. Also we get to learn the ways people make tutorials and some techniques they have used so we have an idea what our tutorial is going to be like and we get to start planning in our head.

The skills that we have learned during this project would be helpful in the future. For example speaking in a clear voice, we would need that skill to present something or make a speech when we grow up. Also the skills of using technology because it is most likely that the future will be full of technology so the basic skills of using technology would be useful in the future as well. Over all, I think the skills we have learned during this project are helpful when we grow up.

Technology

A post about Tutorial. (it’s for HW)

I chose this video because the umbrella in that video was very cute and even if nobody was talking, it had clearly showed each step. It had a vision on the video and not like other cartoon umbrella tutorials, there wasn’t anything like hands to block our sight. Also they have credit at the end and the only thing I didn’t like about the video is that half of the video is filled with credits but not the main point.

Evaluate Reflection

My favorite part of this blog creating project thing is to create. Compare it to the investigate, plan, and evaluate for the create part you actually make your plan into a real thing(well, my plan and my blog are completely different because I planed my blog before I found my hobby). I like the plan part too but the hard thing is that there are too many ideas and you only get to choose 3. It was pretty hard to choose. My least favorite part of this project is the investigate. The investigate part was really boring because we never get to create anything for our blogs. Well, as you know it I love to create things and don’t sitting there and learn how to use it (I know this step is REALLY important).

My weakness during this project is to decide on a topic when we had to draw a theme for our blog. During that time I couldn’t find a good theme for my blog because I didn’t know what my hobby was. Because of that I started to wonder what my hobby is and I lost myself until 2011. So that was my weak point before and now my weak point is about my english skills. I make lots of spelling mistakes and grammar mistakes. My strength is that I enjoy updating my blog. I cannot wait to update for next week!

I think I’ve demonstrated thinker during the class when I was trying to think of a topic for my theme. I thought of lots of ideas but I kept on thinking until I thought of a perfect one. And for the theme, I was trying to make sure that it was perfect so I used my brain to think of a good design.

Create Reflection

I am really happy with my blog design because it matches with my hobby and the way that I organized this blog is different compared  others. I found some interesting widgets to use in my blog and some how I found out the way to let it snow (but I’ve already forgot how did I do it :P ). Well I think it’s pretty good and I plan to change the header every month.

I think I’ve met the 6C criteria about keeping everything simple, the theme relates to the topic that I am going to focus about, having an about me page (it’s on the homepage), I think I have a exciting blog title, it’s not colorful but it’s still eye catching, and i think the way I organized this blog is pretty good.

Well I kept simple by using the colors that are easy to read and I made the theme that relates to the topic. I have a about me page on the homepage (please tell me if there is any grammer mistakes) and I think I have a exciting title for my blog (please tell me if you don’t like the name of the blog). I don’t think I’ve met the criteria about being colorful but I thinkPicture 36

Well lastly I think from now on I should update my blog at least once a week (I will have to think of a topic that I can talk about during the raining season when I cannot look at the stars). To do this I will have to make time to write on the blog and I will have to make time to look at the stars or maybe research about it.

Plan Reflection

I chose this template because other people thinks that this one is the best. I couldn’t choose between those 3 templates because I think those 3 are great so asked everybody and they said the one with the rainbow is the best. I think this one is pretty good because it has lots of colors, it has most things that a perfect blog needs and everything in the template is eye catching.

This template is an excellent blog design. This blog design is eye catching, unique, and it directly tells the reader about the topic. More people will read the eye catching blog and people will comment on my blog to make me happy. ^^ And being unique can attract more people!.

I think there is a lot more to learn about growing my blog. Not only the 6C Blog Criteria, I still can learn from other blogs and i personally think I need to learn how to type fast so I can write more on my blog. I found a great website to learn how to type faster called BBC typing. There are some other things I can learn too. Like making new theme for my blog, making my blog rain or to have a rainbow on top of my blog!!

Investigate Reflection

Before we started to blog we looked at the other great blogs that other adults wrote. Then we wrote the good things about those blogs on the Blog Research sheet and we used this sheet to find the criteria for an excellent blog. Then the next things we did is to use the Inspiration (which is a application on the computer) to make a  well-organized and clear mind map to brainstorm about what to put on the blog. We practice using the word press (which is the Blog) and get used to it then we can start!

I think there are 2 criteria are the most important. The first one is to include a picture because I think 1 picture worths 1000 words. it will put the reader into the scene and they could understand what the writer is writing about. The second one is the blog title. Most people can understand what kind of blog that their going to read just by looking at the title.
