Element Poster Reflection
In Science class we made posters about an element of our choice. The element I chose was lithium. Here is a photo of my poster.
This assignment was assessed against the one world criteria. How does your poster show this skill?
It shows one world because it shows how this element is used in life. It shows the different uses and it also shows the issues with mining lithium and the good things about ming lithium.
This assignment was assessed against the communication criteria. How does your poster show this skill?
This shows communication because it shows that I know how to use scientific words that we have used in this unit. This shows that I have an understanding of what we have done in this unit and of important facts about lithium.
What was the most challenging thing in completing this project?
The most challenging thing about his project was managing my time. At first I was very slow at researching but towards the end I worked really fast and crammed a lot of things in on the last few days before it was due. I think that this wasn’t very good and next time I want to spread the work out over the whole period of time. I was also challenging to find out how lithium is extracted
Now that you have seen all the other posters, which element would you choose if you had to do this assignment again – give a reason for your choice.
I would pick neon because this looks like a fun element to research and I don’t know much about neon so I want to learn more about it.
