Here is the final stage for the tutorial project, the reflection.
I am quite happy with my finished project because I spoke in a clear voice so people could understand. Also, I thought that I explained my steps well one by one. But there some things I didn’t like about my tutorial. First, the camera was too wobbly so you couldn’t see all the steps in great detail all the time. If I was to do this project again, I would get a camera stand to rest the camera while I was filming. Also, next time I think I will try screen casting.
The most important thing I learned this project was to not have each step in the tutorial too complicated. I learned this step when I watched other tutorials on YouTube and other video websites. This skill is very important because if the step is too long, the viewer will get lost, and not be able to understand.
I grew as a learner through this project because at the beginning, I didn’t know how to use iMovie, but during the project I learnt gradually by looking at all the things you could do on iMovie. Also, at the beginning, I had trouble recording because my voice was too quiet, but at the end, I talked nice and loudly so then the viewer would understand my tutorial better.
Thanks,
George

Well done George! You learned a lot by creating your tutorial. The wobbly camera is a tough one – usually this is why people use a tripod, or at least rest the camera on something. I find the iPhone camera is so small and light that sometimes it’s more wobbly to hold than a larger camera. This is all good learning though, you’ll know what to do next time!
