Pig Heart thing

In Science class we dissected a pigs heart. In science class we were studying hearts for about a week and what I thought looked like a heart it wasn’t. the heart is so much more complicated then just two tubes.

In Science class we did a project on a food. I choose egg and the test was to see what the egg had inside of it. We used our different items on varies test to test what was inside egg. We did: how much time did you spend on this assignment, list things that you learned about your food and digestion, what are you proud of from this project and what about the assessment would you do differently if you did it again?

4-6 hour including the experiment.

Egg has fat and protein .

how many kind of egg types for calories.

The Protein test.

Science Boat Experiment

In science class we made boats out of aluminum foil. Everyone in class was given square piece of aluminum foil that was the same size. We all did research on the internet to find the boat design that we thought we could build that would hold the most “atom molecules” that we could load into the boat.

For my boat design, I chose a canoe shape. I constructed my boat with an enclosed top, as I thought that this would hold air in and water out, and keep the boat afloat.

I started with 7 “atoms” and continuously added additional atoms, two at a time. Of course, I had to keep opening the top of my boat to do this, which took extra time.

My boat sank when I added my 20th atom. I then removed one, and found that the boat would still float with a maximum of 19 atoms.

My friend Justins boat was a canoe shape as well, but without a closed top. His boat held 16 atoms. My friend Sena’s boat was also a canoe shape, but wider. His boat held a maximum of 36 atoms.

I think that a good boat design for this experiment would be a flat bottom boat, with sides that are just high enough to keep the water out. I think this because, the most successful boat design in our class had a large flat bottom and high sides. The least successful designs were round bottom boats which tipped over easily.

Dissecting a Flower

In science class we looked at cells and disected a flower. the flower had 5 main parts. The petals the pistol the seed the pollen and the stamen. We looked at all of them this is what they looked like

The petals of the flower

The style it the think that takes the  pollen to the ovary

The seed is the baby of the plant and can not be grown with out the female and male plant cells.

The pollen is the male sex cell of a plant.

The ovule is the female sex cell. Its basically a unfertilized seed

Stamen is the this that hold pollen and give it to bees to carry on

This is what pollen looks like
