Ueno zoo reflection

Watching red pandas

 

In Ueno zoo we studied our animals we choose to research, I choose the red panda and I think it was a good choice because I never really knew what a red panda was before so that means I learned something new.

Red pandas live in mountains with a lot of trees, There sleep on tree branches and mostly live on trees. There homes are really big because mountains are big, The red pandas in keno zoo did not have a lot of space for living, It was limited space and they didn’t seem very happy.

In the natural environment theres natural trees and natural land, In the man made one theres natural trees but FAKE land. In the natural one there is a lot of animals living there in ueno zoo I only saw three red pandas.

The animals did not look happy in the ueno zoo because … There were sleeping

We have zoos so humans can explore the animal world, in other words to learn more of different spices of our kingdom “animals”.
If I was a animal in a zoo I would be famous and I will get very mad of the paparazzi.
First to improve the ueno zoo they have to add more animals and make the space bigger for the animals because Its really harsh being in a space al your life, Its like being a inmates I guess in my point of view.
We should visit zoos and stop wasting land for just making a zoo.

Music Reflection ( African Music )

Hello, My name is Francisco and this is my reflection for what we been doing this unit.

 

 

We been watching videos of African music and making our own African beat. We went to a piechart website which was a music website and that music website had educational things and information. We made some rhythms that we had to show the class.  As a class we sang a song called shosholoza. We also listened to African call and  response In youtube which was fun.

 

We learned about pentatonic scales and a gun boot dance which Is like tap dancing, the gun boots were very interesting because It has a lot of history. And the other thing we did was we made are own call and response in partners. My call and response was called shining moon and It I had a partner help me with it. The song was short but was repeated two times.

Museum Blog Reflection G6 ” National museum reflection”

We went In train to tokyo I guess and we went to the Tokyo National museum, We went there to find objects that are interesting like katana swords and Japanese armor. Im not sure If you had fun but my friends were so bored they played tag In the museum and then played outside … What I found was Japanese armor and a bunch of scary katana swords. I took pictures with my iPhone which I took like 24 pictures. In the museum I was hoping there was some art or at least gun powder cause that stuff Is real old. Instead of looking at gunpowder I found some statues that count as art.

I studied a bunch of objects, The object I studied was Japanese armor and Katana swords slash Japanese art slash Asian art. The main thing I studied was Japanese Samurai old strong armor which was interesting. I think that the armor was dug from the ground In Japan and that was probably how we have Japanese armor In the museums.The Interesting thing about the object was that the armor was still alive after getting used by a Japanese soldiers. From looking at the Japanese armor I learned that sometimes theres symbols on Japanese armor like this Interesting looking piece of metal :)

The Interesting thing about the object was that It was old and It was used by real samurais which makes It more Interesting. By investigation this object I learned a bit more about Japan. I learned that some Japanese armor has the Japanese symbol ( circle ).
I was able to make a connection with the armor because Japan isn’t the only country with armor. Other countries from Europe had armor too. Chain armor was popular In other countries, Japanese armor was made from small steel or iron plates sewed together with silk.
I can’t find the history of the armor which Is sad because I been looking for like 15 minutes but I can’t recognize which armor is it, I found some armor but It was not the armor I was looking for. I found a great website for armor :)
The connection is that chain armor Is strong as Japanese steal / Iron armor. In my conclusion Japanese armor is more scary comparing to chain mail armor or regular iron armor.

Technology – Evaluate Reflection

Hi, my name Is Francisco and this is my Evaluate Reflection for my technology class.

I am very happy about my work because I used a technique which was cutting clips and then recording and combining the clips to make a good video. Which means I learned that just going for one go Isn’t always good. Next time If I did this project again I would take my time and try to give more details. And a other thing I would change is my voice because I seemed very tired In the tutorial I made. The last reason why I am happy about my tutorial Is I made It in time.

My strengths was I was able to not rush and I used the cutting and combining clips technique which was a good thing, And one example is that I used slides for my tutorial instead of just talking the whole time.  My weakness was that I couldn’t think any more things to add until today like my background picture was boring. For example I could of edit the video more and cut clips I didn’t  need.

I could use these skills In the future … I can use them when I make videos or tutorials for my youtube channel for fun. I could use these skills for technology class or anything that Is digital for example Digital Art or something like that. I could even use it for other classes when I have to make a speech because I will be used to talking and knowing that people will be listening. But I think I could use it for teaching people In live because I will know good ways to teach If I know good ways to make tutorials.

In this unit I grew more as a learner because I tried hard on my final video tutorial and looked back at my drafts and realized I needed to change that and that so I could make a better final tutorial. I think that I did good this project as I said because I learned a new skill called split the clip and combine other clips, A other skill I learned was to speak clear and not mumble or anything that makes your speech less as you wanted.

Moviemaking: Shots and angles

Today In my English class my group and me had to make a video clip of people, We recorded our group in different angles and distances. We did close ups. High shots and low shots. Even far shots which I didn’t fail at recording. I learned a bit more ways to take pictures. I think the long shot was good, I think the close up was not to good. The low shot and the hight shot were ok. The bad thing about the far shot was that you couldn’t see the persons face and expression.
