4th Day On Field Studies

by on Jan.09, 2012, under Field Studies

This is the second last day on Field Studies. On this day I think I was Balanced because I was equal of the things I did. The 6th grade woke up at 7:00 AM and had a breakfast at the hotel. At 9:00 we left to go to a hike that took us about 4-5 hours to go up and 2 hours to go down. As we were going up me and a friend of mine called Daiki got tired so we both borrowed the helper dogs to speed us up. The dogs names were Sky and Teddy. I used Teddy. Teddy and Sky were so cute. We finally got to the top we had our lunch and the lunch was… MY FAVOURITE FOOD CURRY! The curry was Excellent. The curry came with Chai. The Chai was Hot Hot Hot!
It was time to go back down. Going down was so much easier than going up. While going down I was talking to my teacher Ms. Cofino about The Simpsons. If you haven’t noticed I’m a BIG Simpsons fan. I talk about episodes to my dad and my dad gets Irritated when I start chatting away from the simpsons. Getting to the point… Chatting away with all that Simpsons made the walk like 2 hours to 5 MINUTES. I found a weird thing that was lond skinny and… Slithery. A snake. That scared me a bit. We were back to the hotel and had a nice Dinner.

3rd Day On Field Studies

by on Jan.05, 2012, under Field Studies

On the third day of field studies I think I was a Risk-Taker. I was a Risk-Taker because we did Rock Climbing and River Cleaning on the day. Rock Climbing was fun because the wall was high so I had to take a risk. The rock climbing came in different levels. The levels I did were level 5 and level 2. Level 5 was a bit hard so I had to have a second try. When I accomplished level 5 I was still wanting to do some more climbing. I decided to do an easier level because the instructor told me to maybe compare it with level 5. level two was very high but very easy because there were not so many changes in directions and you didn’t have to reach so far.

After doing rock climbing we went on to river cleaning. River cleaning was a bit tough because we had to pick up garbage. I found a weird looking blob on tfhe floor so I asked one of the Instuctors what it was and he didn’t know what it was so I just put the weird looking blob thing to the plastic bag and looked at my hand and it was all green. That was also taking a risk and also being Open-Minded. After picking up garbage we had a nice BBQ for lunch. The BBQ was really good. I ate Yakisoba, Sausages, Curry and Mash Potato.

When the sun went down we went back to the hotel and had a good night’s sleep to rest for the next day of… Field Studies!

by on Oct.22, 2011, under Field Studies

Day 2

On the second day at hakuba we went canoeing at Aokiko Lake and MTB (Mountain Biking). We split into groups so it will be easyer to do eather one. My group went canoeing at Aokiko Lake. After that we ate our Brunch. When we finished eating our lunch we caried on with our activities. It was our turn to do MTB. The MTB was fun because there were hills that were hard but made it better. Later on we left camping to stay in a hotel called Yamano Hotel. We ate a gorgeous dinner at the hotel.
