I’ve been reading detective book. It is called The skateboard Detectives Priceless by Andrew Fusek peters. I made a podcast book review about it. My reflection is: I should next time explain uncommon words next time on my podcast.
I learned how to do a cartwheel. It took a little bit of time to her able to do it because I was a little scared at the beginning. And also I learned how to do a backwards roll.
We weren’t being able to flow together because of me. I had a hard time on doing the last part because I kept on dropping off Tobi’s back. And some parts I forgot to do.
I found the balance and the jumping thing challenging because the balance is so hard to balance and the jumping it was complicated because I had to jump from the side.
I overcame the jumping part because I practiced lots of times. But I did not overcome the balance because when we were doing the real one I dropped off Tobi’s back again.
This unit was enjoyable because we hard new things like balances and cartwheels that were quite complicated to do. I like to do hard and challenging things.
My practice was productive because we practiced lots of times and we did the skit over and over again. and we even changed some parts and did it over and over again.
Next time I want to be able to improve on my balance more and work harder next time so I do not get hurt and I do not fail again at the very en when we did the balance.
During this unit we did an Dropping Egg experiment. First we started on the planning on google docs. We had to make a plan what we had to by using digits to label them in order. Then we had to sketch on the computer what our thing would look like. We put cardboard wool and string and a bag we needed a bag and a string to make a parachute out of it. How we made the thing ready is we first put tape and cotton around it. Then we built a box out of cardboard and then we put the egg inside the box and lastly we attached a parachute to it.The size was 20 by 20 by 20.
Then After that we had to do the dropping finally. The place where we dropped it was the roof on the second floor. Our teacher told us to pick the order we go there were five groups and we were the last on to go which was fifth. We had three people in our group Yudai, Daiki and me. Yudai was the dropper, I was the tapper and Daiki was the person who opens it as after Yudai drops it. Our egg broke .
Some worked because they had more materials then us and also we rushed through on our thing.
What I should improve next time is I should get more materials and work on it slowly so it might not break next time.
This experiment was very hard because we had to really think how big it was and how we should make it so it does not break.
What I liked is it was very interesting. It was not interesting when we did the second one.
During this unit we did a tutorial. Why this is a good tutorial is because it has good demonstration. And I think I demonstrated it carefully.How I did this is when I taped it I made it to a good direction so you can see better what I was doing when I was lighting the bunsen burner.
I am happy with my tutorial half because I had good demonstration but I had a very small voice for my tutorial. So I think people have o make the volume max to hear my voice. I am also happy with my planning because I think I did lots of planning. I think I also did bad on pace I think it was too short.
It was hard because first I had to learn all the things about iMovie first. And also I messed up a lot of times for an example when I used the bunsen burner did not turn on one or there was a time when the match did not light and the blue flame did not work. But there was thing that was easy it was how to tape.
The criteria that my tutorial meets is pace. I think I had good pace on my tutorial so the viewer can hear it easily a little bit I think I did bad on the volume because the volume kept on going up and down so it was a little hard to understand.
I should watch more tutorials and study the rubric more in class so I can make a better tutorial in class. I think I should be careful with the things.
