During this unit we did a research about Music and rhythm in Africa we first watched a video about the drums in africa. The funny part was when the person who was anouncing the names was playing the drum at the very end. Then now we did a presentation about african music which is called African Music research.
1.The song that made me want to dance is The First Man. The Album’s name is dwelling. The beat made me dance because it was mixed with rock and roll.
2.The song that made me want to dance was shell games and the Album’s name was The people keys. I Liked how they had to music inside this song. The second music was violin and drums and brass.
3.The song that made me want to dance was the song called Film score suit. The Album’s name is Brookland rider plays Phillip grass because it had beats even though it was a string music.
4.The song that made me want to dance was the song called Jena 6. The albums name is captain big black band. I liked how the piano made a good beat.
5.The song that made me want to dance was the song called Eso Que Me Haces. The albums name is Tan banjo I likehow all the string music were played together.
During this unit we did a solo.MY solo is Twinkle Twinkle Little star. What musical skills I learned is to read notes for my instrument. When I practiced with the whole group I learned that if you go to fast or too low the rhythm and the song will be a weird sound. I prepared my self by writing out the notes on the paper. And also I practiced and listened to my solo and found out what was wrong and what was right and I relaxed and not got nervous.
What was challenging during this unit was trying to remember my solo and the band song. And also remembering my position for my instrument and my notes. What I improved from this is that now I now how to play my solo and my band song easily. What I did well during this unit is the band song which is Two Bridges march I can’t play it without looking at it but I think I did well on my band song. My goal is to be able to play all the songs that I learned without looking at and clearly.
