During this unit we did  a cool animals thing on a special web site.

During this unit we did an Dropping Egg experiment. First we started on the planning on google docs. We had to make a plan what we had to by using digits to label them in order. Then we had to sketch on the computer what our thing would look like. We put cardboard wool and string and a bag we needed a bag and a string to make a parachute out of it. How we made the thing ready is we first put tape and cotton around it. Then we built a box out of cardboard and then we put the egg inside the box and lastly we attached a parachute to it.The size was 20 by 20 by 20.

Then After that we had to do the dropping finally. The place where we dropped it was the roof on the second floor. Our teacher told us to  pick the order we go there were five groups and we were the last on to go which was fifth. We had three people in our group Yudai, Daiki and me. Yudai was the dropper, I was the tapper and Daiki was the person who opens it as after Yudai drops it. Our egg broke .

Some worked because they had more materials then us and also we rushed through on our thing.

What I should improve next time is I should get more materials and work on it slowly so it might not break next time.

This experiment was very hard because we had to really think how big it was and how we should make it so it does not break.

What I liked is it was very interesting. It was not interesting when we did the second one.

Today we did an experiment with a boat. This is our second time doing it. The first time we had to make it with just aluminium foil. But the second time we got to use chopsticks and clay. We made a boat with it. I our group I had Daiki and Yudai. There were to ideas Yudai and I had the same idea but Daiki had another idea. Me and Yudai’s idea was that our boat was going to be like a square one. Why we picked it was because when we did it with a aluminum foil Arunansu’s held more than fifty. We did janken to pick but we both lost so we did daiki’s idea.

What we did was we looked at cells with a microscope. The kinds of cells we looked at was animal cells and onion cells. For the onion we had to peel off a small skin from it. I had a hard time peeling off the skin of the onion. When we put the skin on the lens cautiously because if you drop it it will crack in half that is why I held it cautiously. It hurt my eyes when I did this. It was tough focusing the lenses to see the cells of the microscope. We did all these by step by step. We drew a diagram of the onion cell.  Here is a diagram that I drew. 

We made slime in science today. What we used is water,PVA glue, borax solution, and food coloring. How the slime came out is it came out very gooey.

Why we put the 50ML of water and 50ML of alcohol and it only made 95ML of alcohol-water and after we put water and alcohol together there were bubbles is why it makes bubbles is because it burns. And why the we put the two things together and made only 95ML is because some of the alcohol burned.

Today we filled up a container with sand. Then we got a beaker and filled it with water. We saw if the container would sink we kept on adding sand until the container sank in the water. Why we did is to see how much density there is.
