Today we went off to Hakuba for field studies.

After a long bus trip  and while we were riding the bus we watched toy story 2. The other bus watched one piece. We stopped around three times for bathroom breaks and two people in my bus were having an emergency going to the bathroom but they took hold of it until the stops the bus made. When arrived at the Evergreen camp site the same two people in my bus,they had an emergency again so they did it in the bushes. The teacher named the bus group “Toire yabai” in japanese it means emergency for bathrooms.We we were going to stay in the camp site for two days.

First we needed to build a tent to sleep in. When we tried to build the tent it was a little bit hard but we managed to make the tent and the tent was bigger than most of the others so we were lucky.

When we finished building the tent we did an activity called orienteering answer sheet. It was basically finding 45 trash and answering the questions we find and we find the questions by using a compass and going the way what degrees it said on the question sheet and you need to do 11 questions and we got lost 2 twice and when you have to hold the trash bag it’s not that great because it’s kind of wet wen you hold it because we found a water bottle and water was pouring out a little but we picked more than 45 trash.

At dinner we made pasta and I helped make the pasta by cutting the vegetables and I stirred the sauce for the pasta and fried the sweet pepper and cut the tomatoes for the salad. When it was time to eat and when I ate it, no offence but  it wasn’t the taste I expected it to be. When I finished it and cleaned my plate with water, the oil that was in the pasta was hard to get off and it went to my hand and it was hard to get it off my hand. Then we went to the tent and slid inside our sleeping bags and went to sleep but it was so cold so I woke up at 1:26 and I had to put on my jacket but it was still cold and my feet were freezing  so I didn’t have a lot of sleep that day.
