In Humanities we did a design of our own coat of arm. A coat of arm is like a mark that represents you.Before making our own coat of arms we looked at other examples of coats of arms. We looked at the changes in the Japanese design and the European design.
In my coat of arm design I put a flute and a soccer ball representing my hobbies that are playing the flute and playing soccer. Then there is the olympic mark that represents that I like sport. I put the olympic mark because I like watching the olympic games. Then comes the Japan Flag because I am from Japan. The crescent shape on the side is the moon because I like the moon in that shape I made it.
I think I did a good job at making the coat of arm. The hard part was tracing the curved part of the shield because when you use computers to trace, it becomes wobbly and hard to make the shape of the shield.
I am proud of my design because it represents me
