In tutor class we chose our goals for this year. We needed to choose three or more goals and two of them needed to be related to school (sports are ok) and one of them did not need to be about school. Before we are writing this blog, we planed all goals on a google document. We wrote the reason why we chose the goal, benefits of achieving the goal, the achievement time and the steps I will like to use to achieve my goal.
GOAL 1: To improve my spelling
This goal is important to me because my writing will be easier to read.
The benefits of achieving this goal are that I will get better grades for my English class.
I would like to achieve this goal byThe end of the 2nd semester.
The steps I will take to achieve this goal is to try improving the words I always make a mistake and then the words I make a mistake sometimes.
Goal 2:To take care of my dog every day (Not my mom)
This goal is important to me because if I don’t care about my dog hewill starve.
The benefits of achieving this goal are my dog will have enough food to eat.
I would like to achieve this goal by
Making my mom remind me before she does it.
Reflection for this goal: Now I could manage to achieve this goal because of two reasons. The first reason was that I changed the time of my dogs food, which were one time before school and one time when I came home from school. The second reason was that I asked my mom not to give my dog his food.
These are some pieces of work that I really liked from different classes
P.E.
In P.E. class we were divided into two groups which were baseball and gymnastics. For my gymnastics we made a presentation in groups of four~five people. We needed to use most of the skills that we learned in the practices before we made our presentation. My blog post.
Technology
In technology class we were working on our first tutorial! We asked every teacher from each subject what kind of tutorial they will. I chose the one which my Japanese teacher wrote. It was about how to learn your kanji easily and I was exited to make a tutorial about this.
Science
In science class we made a boat out of aluminum foil and experimented how meny atoms will fit in before the boat sinks. We did this in groups of 2-3 with one bucket filled up with water.
English
In English class we learned about film studies. We needed to take to types of pictures with a partner. My blog post.
