My goals this year were:

 

To manage my time

And think I achieved the first goal. I have started to manage my time really well especially on homework. For example,once I go home, I know what to do first and what to do last.Now, that I don’t argue with my mother as much as before, I feel more peaceful at home.

 

improve in my English 

The second goal I achieved was improving on my english. Before, I was not able totell if my english was wrong. Now, I am able to slightly tell if any of my English,grammar or spelling is wrong.If I didn’t achieve my first goal,I wouldn’t have achievedthis one because I would not make time to practice my English.

Keep my locker clean

The last goal, I didn’t achieve it well. My locker is still dirty and messy. My lockerwas cleaner when I decided this goal but now it is worse than I expected. Books everywhereand scrap paper squashed at the end of the locker.It’s more of a disaster happening in mylocker.To achieve this goal, I would try my best to check my locker every now and thenand throw paper that is not need.I hope I could achieve this goal sometime in this year.

Technology

 

In this unit, we learnt how to design and plan our blog. We started with planning a design for our blog theme. Then, we labeled it and made a goal for our blog.

I really like my blog theme which I designed and so do my real one. The reason I like this theme is because it could be customized in many ways.  I could change my background really easily, and by just changing it, it will give a different image of my blog. By changing it, the readers will not be bored with the exactly same theme all the time. Sometimes I get bored at my theme so by doing this I will not get bored about my blog easily.

 

Drama

think my group did a really good job because we used the props wisely and also made great patterns. Also, the song tempo really matched our steps. I really liked how we changed our dancing groups (as you can see, I grouped up with Mimi first but later with Keina.)

 

 

 

P.E.

During P.E., we learnt about using our body to make different shapes and poses. Our assignment was to make a gymnastic performance using a variety of posses assigned. I grouped up with my friends, Mimi, Marina and Elina.

 

 

 

 

English

During English class, we studied about the Sakura Medal books. We chose a book from the school library and we had to focus about either the setting, character or the theme. Most of my classmates chose “Character” but I chose “Setting”. The book I chose was called” Thirteen Treasures” .It is a book by Michelle Harrison.Using the book, we made a podcast.Please look out fo the first part of the podcast where we voted for.

 

 

 

Art

During art class, we learned about the tint, shade and how we express ourselves through painting. We looked at some pictures and figured out what the artist tried telling. Our main idea was “How do our personal experiences shape our identity?” and our concept was “Our culture affects our identity.”
