# Reflection blog post for math

Hello, there is 18 people in this math class(not counting Mr.Fedley) and we are in grade 8. Our teacher is Mr.Fedley.

Our topics for this semester are:

• Topic 1: Estimation, Accuracy & Standard Form. There will be 2 assessment tasks for this unit. Assessment 1 – One Grain of Rice (Criteria B & D) and Assessment 2 – Nanotechnology Activity (Criteria C & D)
• Topic 2: Linear Sequences & Graphs. There will be 2 assessment tasks for this topic. Assessment 1 – Topic Test (Criteria A) and Assessment 2 – Reflections of Lines (Criteria D)

• Topic 3: Exam Revision. We will study for an exam which looks at Criteria A & C
• Topic 4: Quadratic Functions & Equations. There will be 2 assessment tasks for this topic. Assessment 1- Quadratic Graphing Reflection (Criteria B & D) and Assessment 2 – Quadratics Test (Criteria A & C)

# How to work out the answer

Recently in math class we got into groups of three or two and we made a video on a specific topic, such as Linear equations.
