Gymnastic Reflection

Last week, we did gymnastic performance. On mat I did forward roll, fast forward roll (run first and then forward roll) and balance. On springboard I did spinning, side jump, and air forward roll. I think that we did well on doing right task. I also think that it was good that we did not stop performing in the middle of performance. I think the most difficult skill for me was side jump on springboard. I am not really scared of it but I think I need to jump higher. I think I almost overcome the challenge (side jump) by jumping on the springboard as hard as I can and push it with my hands to go over, but my legs didn’t go far enough. I think that the most enjoyable skill was air forward roll on springboard because I like when the air goes around me (kind like the soft wind blowing to me). We finished our practice before the performance, but I think we could have done better work. However, I think our group improved and got everything ready for the performance, so for our group it was still ok to miss some practices. I think we need to work on landing (springboard) because most of the landing wasn’t clean and also, the angle of the landing wasn’t right (going off the mat or nearly out of the mat).

I think that we did a good job but I think it was little long. The music stopped before we do the ending. However, I think trying best is most important thing in any kind of sports.
