<p>My best speech for this semester was my speech about clay shooting. I memorized my whole speech, and I projected my speech loud enough for the audience to listen to. My pitch was good, and was easy to understand. I did not speak in a high voice, or low voice. However, I did not speak clearly and I rushed at some moments. </p>
<p>I should improve on my tempo and clarity of my speech. I think this is important because the audience needs to listen to the speaker. </p>

<p>Taro&#8217;s speech was good, because he spoke in a clear voice and it was very easy to understand. His topic was interesting and he spoke with interest and his voice had a good tone. However, his facial expression could of been improved on. </p>

<p>I need to improve my pace, because I rushed in certain parts, and made it harder to understand. I also need to speak clearer.</p>

<p>In this video, Sean and I were trying to open a locked door. We solved it by forcing open the door and then knocking it over at the end. I think we were really good at acting like the door was closed, however I think I could of improved my acting when I was knocking over the door and when I fell. </p>
<p>I think we could use these skills in the future, as it will help us to make it look more realistic, but also make it look more interesting. </p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>In drama class, we have been making different and creative dances.<br />
I teamed up with Arunansu, Johan and Yudai. Three of my really good friends. </p>
<p>We were assigned to make a dance, and we were allowed to make any dance with any theme.<br />
Our group decided to make one that is related to Medieval theme. We used ribbons as wands and we wanted to make a rhythmic dance.</p>
<p>Couple of weeks ago, we presented our Medieval dance. It was not our finished one, but all our ideas into a small one. We got lots of positive comments and very few negative ones. Our dance had rhythm, patterns and we were well organised. However, our dance was too short, and that was one of our negative comments.</p>
<p>We used the feedback given by our class and the teacher, and we changed and added parts we never thought of. For example, we added a more scary and &#8220;On-guard&#8221; introduction instead of starting the dance by a big &#8220;Woosh&#8221; created by the group. We used the idea given by the teacher to make a more Medieval feeling by adding more expressions at the beginning.</p>
<p>We also added a &#8220;Switching wand&#8221; scene. We did this by throwing our wands in the air and then catching your opponents wand. Then we would do it again to get our original wand back. Not only that, our original fighting scene was short and did not have a variety of moves. Instead, we added more moves and made it longer by fighting your opponent longer.</p>
<p>At the end, we agreed to do a final and big attack by spinning the ribbons then attacking each other. After we did that, we would throw our wands straight into the air, and then act dead. </p>
<p>I think we did a very good job, and I thought our dance was creative. However, I would of liked to make it longer. </p>

<p>My strengths would be the video of me performing &#8220;Statues&#8221;. I tried to make it as funny as I could and It sort worked. I spoke with a loud voice and used my whole body. My weaknesses would be in the other video. I was not really creative and I was not really reacting to the scene. I could improve by adapting to the scene and continue it.</p>
<p>The easy thing about this would be me doing statues. I was confident and knew what I was doing. The challenging thing would be me adapting to the scene.</p>

Students will engage in summative Improv Theatre Sport Event. 3 theater sport games will be chosen from 6 theater games practised during the unit. Students are divided in 3 teams. Each student has a sheet with rubric to record the minimum of 2 games joined.</p>
