My Personal Goals

Goal 1: Using specific and detailed vocabulary during class when writing writing works.
This goal is important to me because since I am in YIS it is better to speak or write good English that makes sense.
The benefits of achieving this goal are I can improve my English level, also to make my writing detailed.
I would like to achieve this goal by the end of 6th Grade.
The steps I will take to achieve this goal are to write my work normally, then check my work and add words that we learnt during the topics to make it sound better that makes sense for something we learnt.
Goal 2: Time managing during Home Work
This goal is important to me because if I finish my work first and then play, I don’t have to rush in school to finish my work and also I would prepared in class in time.
The benefits of achieving this goal are I won’t rush during class or the due date suddenly changes, I don’t have to worry about finishing the Home work.
I would like to achieve this goal by End of 6th grade.
The steps I will take to achieve this goal are stick a paper that has a message to do my home work first, so then I can remind my self to do my home work first, and then do my home work. I will keep on doing the same thing.
Goal 3: To keep my things organized in the lockers or in files.
This goal is important to me because if it’s organized, I don’t have to rush through my work during class time.
The benefits of achieving this goal are if I am organized things won’t fall out from my lockers and also, it would be helpful to see things clearly.
I would like to achieve this goal by next Friday.
The steps I will take to achieve this goal are first I will get certain folders for each class put papers in them then put them in my lockers from the biggest books, folders on the very bottom then but the smallest things on the top.
I am gradually meeting all of my goals but the one I achieved most is time managing during home work because right now when it’s time to do my home work now I can do my home work first and then do what I want to do. My locker is getting more organized… I bet. I think I can do better with my locker if I have more time. I am getting better at using words in english that we learned during my summative work.

I chose this work because I really liked this unit and this is my favorite blog post for technology.
PE – Gymnastics Dance
I chose this work for PE because I enjoyed this unit the most for creating our own sequence using the mats and the volt so I thought this might be a very good memory.
Drama – Rhythm Dance “The Bangies”.

I chose the rhythm dancing video for drama because I really enjoyed doing together as a team and making interesting noises using the board and our bodies.
Art – Self Portrait Reflection
I chose this work because I think the picture of my portrait shows what kind of person I am.
English – My first Podcast
I chose this work because the podcast is about my favorite book and also it was my first podcast ever that made me really excited.
Field Studies – My First Day of Field Studies
I chose this blog post because this has a lots of memories of when I was excited to go to my first day of field studies and it makes me think back of what I did in field studies.
Humanities – Different Culture Practices
I chose this work because for this unit in humanities, I had some interests on different things other people do in other countries.
Science – Floating and Sinking
I chose this work because in science it was fun making the boat and measuring how many plastic balls can go on the boat that we made with aluminum foil.
