Grade 6

GOALS:

1. To know much harder math equations.

I achieved the 1st goal which is to challenge to harder math equations. I arrived to this goal by doing school work and also going to Juku. Juku is a place you go and study by yourself. In Juku there is a teacher who helps you with your work. I usually go to Juku on Wednesday. Sometimes other days. I learned few math equations and one of them is dividing fraction and fraction and multiplying fraction and fraction. This takes a long equation to solve. There are some tips that you can’t miss because if you make a little mistake, it makes a big change to the answer so I always take time to solve it. We still didn’t do this math so it will be easy for me when we are starting this.  Now I have confidence with main fraction problems.

2. To study and review what I learned.

I didn’t achieve the 2nd goal. Or it’s more accurate if I say, I COULDN’t achieve this goal because I didn’t have time. I had Juku (place you study), Basketball, Baseball, other school work, and all other things. I once felt that these things are trying to crush me. I think that this goal wasn’t smart goal as my 1st goal. I didn’t think about the time I had to achieve this goal. So this goal was bad for my situation and time.

3. To fadeaway shoot like Kobe Bryant.

My 3rd goal was all about practicing and learning. The goal was to be able to Fadeaway shoot like Kobe Bryant. I can now fadeaway shoot but not good as Kobe Bryant because he is a pro NBA basketball player. I succeed this goal by practicing almost everyday. On school days, I practiced in recess and after school for about 45 minutes. I also watched some youtube tutorials about Fadeaway shots. It was helping me alot. Now I can score baskets even there is no space and even some players are double teaming you. This is the video I watched for achieving this goal.

These are my 3 main goals that I made during Tutor class. The last goal is about sports and I’m a basketball player and my row model is Kobe Bryant from the LA Lakers. The top other 2 are about school work and studies. One of my favorite subjects are math and I want to know much harder equations so I can enjoy math and challenge other harder and complicated math. My 2nd goal is to review things to not forget important things. Especially in Language class because I am trying to learn a new language so if you forget and miss some parts, it is hard to get back in the flow of the class. So these 3 goals are really important to me.

These were my 3 goals. Next time I am making a goal, I will make it sure that I can achieve it and my time limit. Now I learned how to make goals that are smart.

Technology

This is a tutorial I made for Technology about how to crossover dribble. Before this video, we made plans such as the Storyboard. The storyboard helped me a lot because I had the idea already when I was recording so it didn’t take a huge amount of time.

PE

This is a performance we did in PE class. We did this in the Gymnastic Unit. It was fun performing and practicing. Our group was Zerric, Jem, and Sumin.

 Drama

This is a prop dance I did with Jem. We used a ribbon for our prop and we used Waka Waka for our main song.
