ART Portrait Reflection
In Art class we have been working on our self-portrait. We had to draw a self-portrait that expresses ourselves.
This self-portrait discribes me because of the way I drew it. I drew my face large and in the middle, I did’t want my portrait to be too complicated I wanted it to be simple and eye catching. This also discribes me because of the colors I used . I used bright vivid colors which discribes me because I like to be straight with things. I don’t like to be around in the middle like pastel colors,though I like using pastel colors.
My strengths was designing my self-portrait because I had a lot of ideas and because I enjoyed thinking of the colores and the background designs.My weaknesses was coloring the background and making my face gradation. Both was my weakness because I did not add enough water and because I used a lot of different colors for one part.
Overall I am very proud of my work and I think it really explains ME. I would like to learn more painting skills and about smoothing paints out. Next time I would like to take more time on my portrait and I want to add more detail to my portrait. For example the Gradation in my face or smoothing out the paint in the background.
