When I came to Japan all I had used was a PC computer, and I only used it twenty minutes a day. When I came to japan, everybody started talking about how they were going to be so excited to use Apple macs, and I had no idea what they were. I didn’t even know how to copy and paste. But over the two years I’ve been here I learnt a lot of tech skills from my classmates who helped me out. So basically, I will use the skills that I have learnt in technology classes for example how to write posts, I will need to use that skill for posting project and assessments on my blog. Another skill we also learnt was adding links to blogs. But before we learnt the skills that we were going to use on our blog we had to brainstorm what our blog was going to be about. We had to explore other blogs to get ideas for our blogs. Then we had to do a research sheet that showed what they did good and we had to take their address to make sure that we could go back to the blog. I made my blog about daily life and schoolwork. Then when we created our blog we had to make one blog post and I decided to add a link that was a screen shot of a ‘’Wordle’’ picture that I created.
I would choose about me and design because the design is a design that describes a bit about what I like. For example, I like dark blogs because it makes the font stand out and my header is a picture of a abstract rainbow colour swirl. I chose these kinds of things for my design because I like colours that stand out. I also chose about me. The reason I chose this criteria is because I wanted the blog to explain about the things that I do at school and at my house so basically my daily life. And the last one is title because, I made my title 18vineyc because I had an idea for it to rhyme with my tagline which is ‘’Be the best you can be!’’, but also because I thought it was a unique and creative title that would explain about me because it has my last name, the year I graduate and the first letter of my name.
