This is a picture of me!

My name is Charlotte and I am three quarters Australian and one quarter Welsh. I am eleven years old and I am a girl. My favourite sports are futsal, soccer, basketball and so much more. I especially like tennis because my Great Uncle Dawson played in Wimbledon and that is why I’m so inspired to play tennis.

My favourite school subjects are PE, tech, science, math, humanities and english. The reason I like these subjects is because I can finish homework easily and confidently. Right now in PE, we are doing a unit about soccer. I am really liking this unit because it gives everyone a chance to join in and they don’t  have to sign up like an activity. In tech we are working on our blog and trying to achieve our ”How to grow a blog plan” goals. We have just finished our first assessment in science class. It was mainly just about what is it called when a solid is turned in to a liquid or what is it called when a solid turns in to a gas and it keeps going on and on and on. in math we are learning about long-division, fractions and algebra. Humanities we are finishing a slideshow about a place that we think is the opposite to Japan and I chose Paupa New Guinea. And finally, in english, we are just finishing doing a podcast for our sakura medal book which will be posted when finished on to Ms Cox’s blog: blogs.yis.ac.jp/coxm/

Now, I also like to read books. My favourite author is Roald Dahl because he uses words in a creative way and the characters that he comes up with are hilarious (and the illustrations by Quentin Blake as well).

Another thing that I also like is music. Right now I am learning the koto (the Japanese harp) and I am finding some things or should I say techniques reasonably difficult to perfect. But I am really enjoying learning it and I hope to continue. I also like playing the drums, piano and the claranet.

I hope that you have enjoyed reading my about me page and please subscribe!!
