How to draw a Manga eye

Last week I have just finished my tutorial I was talking about in my posts under technology!

I learned when you are making a tutorial is that you are teaching someone to do something that will help them or feel better knowing how to do it. When your making a tutorial for one thing you are not just doing it for yourself, because its your assignment, but your doing it for other people. Also its not easier than I thought it will be like but its hard to think of how to say for the audience to understand you. You know all of what is have to be done in the tutorial, but the audience doesn’t so you have to be a good example.

I am so so happy with my tutorial, but sometimes I made mistakes by saying the wrong word. Also I HATED my camera angle! At first I thought I was ok showing the picture every step but I forgot and you can’t really see what was going on, so that was a challenge.

As I said above you really had to make sure you made sense in the tutorial, so that was hard. The easy thing about the tutorial was that I know what to do, so it wasn’t the first time for me to do that skill. Also the set up was hard for me you never know what your audience sees when you tape it but your camera, so I was an EPIC failure on that one. Otherwise it was all fine for me.

My top 3 good parts from my tutorial from my class tutorial criteria was fast forwarding, step by step, and pacing. I think I especially did  good job at fast forwarding my drawing parts where I dont say anything or do anything except draw. I also did a good job at having a really clear step by step information when just started the step as a headline and sub headline in the tutorial. Finally, I think I did a good job on pacing while I explained to my audience what was to be done. I didn’t rush so that they didn’t have to process through their brain that much.

What I need to learn now to make a better tutorial is I need special lessons on the camera, so it will be easier for me to do the camera next time. Also I will like to know what I can do more that I haven’t learned yet. It will also be cool if they showed me how to do a much cooler theme song in the beginning like in TV shows, sos that will be cool.

We also in the middle of the unit had to look at other student’s tutorials. I watched Alina’s and Helen’s. I learned from Helen’s tutorial was that I should put the brush with the paint inside water first and then splash the paint onto the paper. In Alina’s I basically got reviews, but it was good. Also she reminded me that I should switch the numerator and denominator should be switched when you are divided fractions.

If you wanted to make a tutorial please consider my advice forst, so you can do a good job! thank you!

    Great Tutorial Aruna!!
I think this is a very good tutorial because you used a very clear voice and because you explained the steps in a lot of detail. Since I watched this tutorial I know how to draw a good manga eye. Which really helps because I sometimes like to draw manga eyes as well.

Fantastic work Aruna! I’m especially impressed with this point:

This is exactly what this unit is about, I’m so glad you really understand that focus. I bet your tutorial will help lots of people!
